Our
Story & Mission
Hi, I'm John.
Welcome to Citizen Survival Plan.

Until recently, I've never really considered myself a "prepper." I was just a guy that was paying attention to what was going on in the world. By that, I mean the very volatile, political, financial, and social climate that has society literally on edge waiting for the next big fallout. We got a taste of this during the COVID pandemic where we saw massive foot shortages, supply chain issues, the kick-off of massive amounts of inflation that is rendering people unable to afford basic necessities they need to survive. Add that to the terrorisms and cyber warfare we are seeing globally and we are all living in a ticking time bomb.
And it got me wondering... what if? What would my family and young kids do if we saw a massive collapse in this country and the power grid was shut down for weeks on end and we didn't have access to food or water?

As I began to more heavily research prepping and emergency preparedness, I saw how easy it was got get sucked down the romantic fantasy rabbit hole of "bugging out." Going through millions of videos of people taking backpacks into the woods, and attempting to live off the land with their bushcraft skills: snaring animals and skinning them, foraging for berries ,and burning animal feces to stay warm.

And if you have young children, it's just not realistic. If you have gotten to the point where you are foraging in the woods, you are close to death. And you are more going to need to be worrying about infections and other consequences of bugging out to the woods such as cuts, skin problems, drinking contaminated water or eating bad game.

That's when I decided to put together an emergency preparedness plan that was a practical and could get me prepared quickly. My plan started to include smart ways to filter water, stocking up ready-to-eat food that required very little to cook it, stocking up on all the hygiene items and medicine you would need in a SHTF situation, radios as as part of your off-grid communications, ways of generating emergency power to charge your emergency equipment, and of course a way to defend yourself.

I've done a lot of research on prepping and now want to share my knowledge with you so that you can help your family get prepared before things SHTF. Thanks for being here, and I hope my information helps you.
